You often work with little supervision, but the job still requires frequent communication with other members of the HR team and with clients. Your career will benefit from skills like negotiation, an intuition for recognizing talent, and experience in the HR field. Most senior recruiters have a bachelor’s degree, and many pursue qualifications like a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate.
