Job Description
As part of the Insurance and Risk Financing department, the Senior Risk & Safety Analyst provides enterprise-wide support across insurance, safety, compliance, and risk management functions. This role partners with business units and support functions to strengthen the firm's overall risk profile by supporting corporate risk transfer and risk financing programs, safety and compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts. The position leverages data analytics, reporting, and the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to help quantify operational risk impacts, manage loss and claims data, and develop insights to inform risk transfer, risk financing and risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, the role supports vendor risk management and contract administration, contributing to informed decision-making, effective risk oversight, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of corporate risk transfer and risk financing programs, including captive insurance company operations, insurance renewals, policy management, claims coordination, and exposure data collection.
  • Use data analytics, reporting, and RMIS to help quantify operational risk impacts, analyze loss and claims data, and develop insights that support risk transfer, risk financing, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Administer and maintain the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Support safety, regulatory, and compliance initiatives, including safety and ergonomics program administration, OSHA compliance requirements, and business continuity and emergency preparedness efforts.
  • Support vendor risk management and contract administration, including documentation, tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share risk and claims information and support informed decision-making and risk mitigation efforts.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting or finance
  • 3 - 5 years finance, accounting or insurance/risk management experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Financial/analytical reporting skills preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate numerous internal & external parties and facilitate functional discussions under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $76,300- $104,900/year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
