Job description

Goodall Brazier have recently partnered with a leading general contractor to assist in their search for a Senior Project Manager to join their San Francisco team. This contractor works on projects spanning Life Sciences, Tech, Commercial and Healthcare with projects ranging in value from $1M-$100M. They are looking to add a crucial member to their team to aid their continued expansion in the San Francisco market and play an active role in the growth of the company.


As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing large client contracts and their associated project from planning through to completion and ensuring client satisfaction. You will play a vital role in the overall management of the projects as well as coordinating the project teams in order to stay on track and on budget.


Day to Day Responsibilities of this role:

  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients and take actions to achieve maximum client satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with the estimation and preconstruction team to complete a comprehensive estimation of projects with a detailed review of plans, specifications and bid form.
  • Plan and organize projects under the directions of a Project Director.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies.
  • Continuously review the performance of project teams and the progress of projects to ensure projects are kept on track and key objectives are met.
  • Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and policies.
  • Build, co-ordinate and manage project teams who are capable of achieving desired outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or other related discipline.
  • 10+ years experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role (PM or SPM).
