Job description

Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical initiatives within our Cybersecurity Portfolio Management Office (PMO). In this fast-paced role, you will act as the primary implementation leader, driving the end-to-end execution of complex cybersecurity and corporate infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing a diverse backlog of features, organizing high-priority sprints, and ensuring all deliverables remain within specified cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The ideal candidate is a "Hybrid" expert-comfortable navigating both Waterfall and Agile methodologies-with the financial acumen to forecast resources and the leadership skills to align cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Implementation: Lead the delivery of assigned cybersecurity projects from discovery through post-project stabilization, ensuring alignment with scope and budget targets.
• Hybrid Methodology Leadership: Organize project execution using both Agile (Sprint planning and backlog management) and Waterfall methods to meet priority business objectives.
• Financial & Resource Governance: Accurately forecast and track project resources, materials, and contract costs (up to $5M), maintaining strict adherence to financial targets and reporting.
• Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors; communicate project status, risks, and KPIs clearly to executive leadership.
• Risk & Issue Mitigation: Record, track, and proactively resolve project issues and risks, implementing corrective actions to keep critical milestones on track.
• Contract & Vendor Oversight: Coordinate required contract work and manage professional service agreements and materials logistics.
• Documentation & Audit Readiness: Maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and documentation; ensure all records are prepared for formal closure and potential auditing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of professional experience.
• Professional Experience:
o5+ years of experience managing moderately complex technology projects.
oProven experience with Infrastructure and Application implementation.
oFamiliarity with technology professional service agreements and materials logistics.
• Technical Knowledge:
oAdvanced understanding of project management principles (PMBOK/Agile).
oFoundational understanding of Cybersecurity principles, technologies, and functions.
oProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise-level Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
• Core Skills:
oStrong financial acumen with experience planning and tracking costs in integrated systems and spreadsheets.
oExcellent organizational skills with the ability to bring order to disparate, cross-functional teams.
oHigh-level negotiation, collaboration, and risk management skills.

• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) from PMI.
