Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to spearhead product development efforts for new power conversion technologies and traditional systems. This role is critical in managing Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) teams to successfully complete multiple projects that contribute to the strategic direction of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the creation and execution of project plans for R&D efforts, New Product Development, and design of test system solutions.
  • Foster the development of cross-functional project teams.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Assist in capturing and documenting customer requirements and ensure those requirements are translated into design and manufacturing specifications by the technical team.
  • Track progress of all projects through design and manufacturing.
  • Communicate with project team and management on project requirements, delivery schedule, budget, changes to project scope, and project status.
  • Work with project management tools, such as Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project.
  • Offer solutions and corrective actions to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide visibility to deviations from target.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate the product development cycle.
  • Develop processes and tools to optimize efficiency.
  • Demonstrate an intense focus on customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in project management and ERP systems.
  • Experience with product development processes and stage gate methodology.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, but other degrees with appropriate experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
