SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Mead / Henderson, CO area. As a Senior Project Manager you will mainly work in an office setting. The PM will lead and manage our construction team to meet the needs of our valued and high-profile clients. This position requires demonstrated leadership in all aspects of telecommunications construction work - including the ability to train, develop, and direct construction crews - while building and maintaining strong client relationships. We are open to considering candidates who specialize in Gas Transmission and Distribution construction, or who have strong proficiency in both.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Supervise, lead, and provide guidance to a team; train and develop construction crews across Aerial and/or Underground disciplines
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
  • Collaborate with the engineering team through design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts
  • Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality expectations - including daily tracking of job progress, managing budgets, and handling change order submittals
  • Lead weekly conference calls with project groups
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with clients so that conflicts and changes are addressed quickly and effectively
  • Build the baseline schedule and project budget
  • Experience with estimating and BTW preferred
  • Oversee monthly financials, accruals, and forecasting
  • Closely communicate with internal support groups and resolve escalated issues requiring coordination across departments

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of proven project management experience, including senior-level leadership of construction teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience, particularly within fiber/telecom projects
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations, develop business plans, and drive financial performance
  • Excellent client and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Primavera
  • Physical activity for the role includes:
    • Site visits as needed
    • May experience variable weather conditions during site visits, including hot and cold weather
    • Standing, and walking for long periods, on variable terrain
    • Repeated lifting up to 50 lbs
    • Repeated motions such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
