Senior Project Manager (Experienced Project Managers Also Encouraged to Apply)

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Compensation: $190,000–$210,000 + Benefits + 401(k) Match + PTO + Vehicle


A leading general contractor in the Fort Myers area is adding a Senior Project Manager to its team as part of continued growth (candidates at the standard Project Manager level are also welcome to apply).


This firm has earned a strong regional reputation for delivering large, ground-up commercial and industrial projects, and currently holds a healthy backlog of upcoming work. The right candidate will take full ownership of ground-up projects from kickoff through closeout, working alongside experienced Superintendents and project teams. This person should have a strong background on large ground-up projects exceeding $30M+.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all aspects of project management — budget, schedule, and resource planning — from start to finish
  • Coordinate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects moving and maintain quality standards
  • Evaluate plans and specs to catch potential issues early and suggest improvements
  • Oversee quality control and manage project staff to stay on schedule and within budget
  • Handle contract review, change orders, and other key project documentation


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Ground-up project experience in large commercial or industrial construction
  • Bachelor's degree helpful but not required
