Job description

Objective For the Sr. Project Engineer:

Growing EPC Firm is seeking a dynamic Sr. Project Engineer adept at evaluating and enhancing energy cost saving systems for the K-12, Municipal, and similar markets to meet client objectives. Seeking to leverage technical experience and project management acumen to drive revenue-generating, energy-efficient solutions within the Midwestern US region.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Project Engineer:

  • Will lead comprehensive evaluations and developments of K-12, Municipal, Higher Ed, and Healthcare energy conversion projects.
  • Analyze current Mechanical, BAS, Lighting, and similar scopes to determine which performance contracting solution would be ideal for client.
  • Will on occasion conduct site audits, analyze utility data, and identify operational inefficiencies.
  • Focus will encompass the collaboration with design subcontractors to ensure code compliance and optimize processes.
  • Tasked with managing project schedules and budgets using Microsoft Project for timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Strong emphasis on cultivating strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service throughout project lifecycles.

Skills Required of the Sr. Project Engineer:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Project, and Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with CMiC construction software or similar a plus.
  • Strong understanding of energy screening models and savings calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and graphs.

Education and RequiredCredentials for Sr. Project Engineer:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Similar Engineering field
  • Professional Engineering License; preferrable in Kansas and/or Missouri
