Title: Civil Project Engineer

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000


Must have Skill Set: Civil 3D, AutoCAD, registered Professional Engineer (PE)


Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Civil Project Engineer to manage projects, prepare technical documents, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you will lead the preparation of planning and design documents, perform process design calculations, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules. You will also play a key role in client coordination, team supervision, and assisting with marketing and business development efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about working collaboratively, taking ownership of their work, and using their talents to positively impact communities.


Job Duties:

  • Prepares planning and design documents in the appropriate engineering discipline.

  • Coordinates assistant and associate professional staff and technical staff's work, and may supervise lower-level staff.

  • Performs process design calculations, prepares cost estimates, and uses economic analyses for the comparison of alternatives.

  • Develops project scope of work, develops project schedules, prepares project initiation paperwork, and manages budget reviews and schedule progress reports.

  • Coordinates projects with other teams, performs and coordinates design aspects of projects, and directs team members on design tasks.

  • Maintains project records including correspondence, drawings, and files.

  • Coordinates with clients and attends client meetings.

  • Manages the preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to effectively communicate findings to clients and internal teams.
