The Project Controls Analyst II/III/Sr. will provide project controls support to Williams' engineering and construction project managers. This role is also responsible for the performance tracking of projects according to our project controls and capital management standards. The ability to collaborate and welcome the ideas and input of others, develop solutions to solve sophisticated problems that improve performance, efficiency and safety and drive tasks to successful completion are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Collaborates with others to create, monitor and maintain cost analyses, financial forecasts and schedules for major and mega expansions and projects
  • Performs applicable analyses to drive additional understanding of project status through the life cycle
  • Prepares and communicates project-related reports to business partners and leaders
  • Supports the Project Change Request process and Project Risk Analysis, including schedule and cost
  • Engages in ad hoc analyses and reporting
  • May step in for project manager to provide leader updates
  • Mentors and trains others
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:

Project Controls Analyst Senior:

  • Required: High school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum six (6) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience
  • Preferred: Master's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum eight (8) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience

Project Controls Analyst III:

  • Required: High school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum three (3) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience

  • Preferred: Master's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum five (5) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience

Project Controls Analyst II:

  • Required: High school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum two (2) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience

  • Preferred: Master's degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum four (4) years' project, project controls, engineering or related experience

Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency of Project Life Cycle
  • Expertise with project-related software systems (ex. Primavera, Oracle Projects) and ability to train others
  • Preferred: PMP Certification, PMI-SP Certification or AACE Certification
