Job Description Position Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of complex, large-scale projects from initiation through close-out. This role ensures customer requirements are translated into clearly defined scope, deliverables, and tasks, and that all project objectives are met in terms of schedule, cost, and quality. The role works closely with the Contract Manager, Project Controller, Lead Engineer, and cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Delivery Translate customer requirements into defined project scope, tasks, and deliverables Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and at required quality levels Develop, maintain, and execute the Project Execution Plan throughout the lifecycle Ensure smooth project handover to Customer Service and end customers Contract & Customer Management Serve as primary point of accountability for customer communication and deliverables Review, interpret, and manage contracts and post-award changes with Contract Manager support Ensure all documentation is completed, including Functional Design Specifications, drawings, and Acceptance Test Plans Address and resolve customer and partner concerns through appropriate internal teams Planning, Scheduling & Controls Collaborate with Project Planner/Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules Conduct Contract Review and Project Kick-Off meetings Maintain project action item logs using established project management systems Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with plan Budget & Financial Oversight Manage overall project budget, cost tracking, and financial performance Identify and control cost variances and provide detailed cost forecasts Support monthly Project Status Report (PSR) preparation with project controlling Risk, Quality & Performance Management Own project risk and opportunity management, including mitigation planning Conduct project assessments and capture lessons learned Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company requirements in coordination with EHS&S Maintain quality standards across all deliverables Leadership & Coordination Organize and lead project team meetings, steering committees, and status reviews Assign and track action items to completion Coordinate internal engineering teams and external suppliers as required Present and support specification development for third-party components and resale activities Reporting & Communication Provide regular project status updates to business unit, regional, and global leadership Maintain clear, accurate, and timely project documentation Ensure transparency of project performance, risks, and forecasts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in project management (industrial, engineering, or automation preferred) Strong understanding of project lifecycle management (initiation through close-out) Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams Strong contract interpretation and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Experience with risk management and project controls tools/systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
