Job description

The Senior Project Manager performs work independently to manage client construction projects in addition to providing mentoring and guidance to two Project Managers and two Assistant Project Managers. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of construction including bidding/budgeting/scheduling, subcontract administration including negotiation and issuance of contracts and change orders, RFI and submittal tracking, client/internal meeting documentation, billing, issue resolution, pay application management, cost reporting, weekly project updates and photo reports, and project closeout for themselves and their direct reports. In addition, this position will direct design coordination, permitting, and owner interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Project management of PREMIER projects. Initial responsibility of full project management duties

including but not limited to: budgeting, cost tracking, schedule development, subcontract buyout,
generating prime and subcontracts, design coordination, project coordination. problem solving,
payment applications, invoice approvals, etc.
  • Assist with and prepare bid proposals and budgets for prospective projects.
  • Assist field personnel as needed to facilitate an efficient and effective construction process.
  • Act as supplementary point of contact for project construction, design and ownership teams.
  • Prepare and submit payment applications including approving subcontractor invoices.
  • Assure that client's needs are met throughout the planning, design and construction stages.
  • Manage and mentor two project managers and two assistant project managers.
