Job Summary

The Senior Programmer Analyst will serve as a business analyst and technical project facilitator within the Application Development Team, supporting the delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders, development teams, and project management by translating business needs into clear technical requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle. Operating in an agile environment, the Senior Programmer Analyst plays a key role in backlog management, requirements gathering, and solution design coordination. The position supports modernization efforts for legacy .NET applications, advances low-code/no-code initiatives, and helps manage a growing ServiceNow workload. By driving effective communication, prioritization, and documentation, this role ensures timely delivery of critical initiatives while improving overall development efficiency and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities or Illustrative Job Tasks:

  • Manage technical projects from initiation through completion by developing clear, measurable, and achievable project plans.
  • Document processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring all technical artifacts are accurately maintained, properly stored, and regularly updated in designated repositories.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance specialists.
  • Support modernization initiatives for legacy applications, including conducting analysis, creating documentation, and assisting with transition planning.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in technical design discussions, ensuring proposed solutions align with both business needs and architectural standards.
  • Provide clear and consistent status updates to leadership, while proactively identifying and communicating risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Deliver expert technical guidance and strategic recommendations, particularly related to ServiceNow and other enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively adjusting priorities as project and business needs evolve.
  • Perform other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned, based on departmental and organizational needs.
Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; three (3) years of related experience demonstrating the job tasks illustrated; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated project management experience, particularly in leading or supporting critical modernization initiatives while maintaining ongoing application support.
  • Certifications or relevant experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and ServiceNow are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in ServiceNow and .NET technologies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational support in a dynamic environment.
