Job description

Bennett Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking an seeking a Senior Program Manager / Acquisition Advisor in Aberdeen, MD. to provide strategic and operational support to Product Manager (PdM) Multi-Mission Surveillance Systems (M2S2). The successful candidate will support acquisition planning, program execution, risk management, schedule oversight, staffing coordination, budget execution, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement activities across a diverse portfolio of surveillance and sensing programs.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Advise Government leadership on programmatic, technical, cost, schedule, and performance risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans to maintain mission execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support acquisition planning, program reviews, milestone events, and executive decision-making activities.
  • Analyze program performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate activities among government stakeholders, contractors, integrated product teams, and external organizations.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing assessments, recruiting strategies, retention initiatives, and succession planning activities.
  • Assist with budget planning, financial analysis, schedule management, and execution reviews.
  • Develop executive briefings, white papers, decision papers, and management reports.
  • Lead special projects requiring analytical thinking, organizational leadership, and independent problem solving.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • The ideal candidate is a former Army Product Manager, Deputy Product Manager, Acquisition Officer, Senior SETA Lead, or Program Manager with direct experience supporting acquisition organizations at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
  • The candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to confidently engage with senior government leadership while driving solutions to complex programmatic challenges.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Logistics, Acquisition Management, Program Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting Army acquisition organizations, Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Product Managers (PdMs), Project Managers (PMs), or similar organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for complex acquisition or technology development programs.
  • Experience supporting milestone reviews, program management reviews, integrated product teams, and executive-level briefings.
  • Experience developing and implementing risk management strategies and corrective action plans.
  • Experience analyzing and improving business processes, workflows, and organizational performance.
  • Experience supporting transition activities, workforce planning, staffing strategies, and contractor performance management.
  • Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.

Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting PdM M2S2, PEO Missiles & Space, PEO IEW&S, C5ISR Center, ATEC, DEVCOM, or related Army organizations.
  • DAWIA Certification in Program Management, Systems Engineering, Test & Evaluation, or Contracting.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience supporting surveillance systems, radar systems, sensor programs, intelligence systems, or other complex weapon system acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), rapid acquisition efforts, or prototyping programs.
  • Prior military acquisition officer or senior civilian acquisition experience.

Security Requirements:
  • Successful completion of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening, and Credit Check.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Government background investigation and meet suitability requirements.

This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000
