Baruch Senior Ministries, a nonprofit organization, is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to be our Executive Director / Administrator at The Horizon Senior Living in Clare, MI. The Horizon offers supportive care and specialized care in a home-like environment with a range of care covering minimal assistance to care for the frail elderly.
As the Executive Director / Administrator, you are responsible for managing overall facility operations and leading by example with regard to customer service, employee relations, and quality assurance while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will select, hire, supervise, and develop qualified personnel to lead all major departments while ensuring continuity and consistency in the delivery and quality of services. You will participate in sales and marketing activities while developing and implementing an annual business plan that achieves the financial goals and maintains high occupancy through marketing strategies.
You will have the opportunity to work for a faith-based company that has a passion for providing vulnerable residents with high-quality care and nurturing their dignity and independence. We provide training and a very competitive benefits package.
Qualified Candidates will possess:
  • A passion for our mission of caring for people as they age.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • 3-5 Years of experience in working in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care facilities, or a combination of education and experience.

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Outlook, and other software programs used by Baruch.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
