Job Summary:
Eliassen Group is a strategic consulting firm that helps organizations reach further and achieve more through technology and business advisory solutions. They are seeking a Sr. Program Director to lead a Security Operations Center program, ensuring the delivery of mission-critical cybersecurity services and managing stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, cultivate, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure collaboration and trust across the SOC program.
• Maintain clear communication with government contracting officers and CORs to align priorities and deliverables.
• Support team development by holding personnel accountable, removing roadblocks, and leveraging organizational resources; participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and evaluation.
• Define, implement, and improve project and operational processes while championing SOC program management and cybersecurity best practices.
• Build and lead high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, empowerment, accountability, and quality standards.
• Prioritize, lead, and manage SOC tasking for timely and effective incident response, monitoring, and operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and manage scope changes to maintain alignment with mission objectives and service levels.
• Gather and translate business and mission requirements into technical and operational solutions that enhance SOC capabilities.
• Identify, manage, and escalate program risks and issues with proactive mitigation in a dynamic threat environment.
• Provide regular status reporting and briefings to leadership on SOC operations, performance metrics, and program health.
• Report to a MetroStar Director for strategic guidance, support, and resources.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of ten years of IT Project Management experience with emphasis on Cybersecurity and SOC initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering Agile programs, including initiatives with AI/ML capabilities for cybersecurity operations and analytics.
• Success managing large, complex IT programs for Federal clients in cybersecurity, capability development, and system modernization, preferably with big data platforms and multi-system integrations.
• Ability to strategize, plan, lead, organize, and motivate cross-functional teams in high-tempo SOC or cyber environments.
• Experience overseeing program financials, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills with mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team-building experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to brief senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into operational impact.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
