Avis Budget Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Operations, E-Commerce to drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of key digital initiatives across our global web and mobile platforms. Reporting to the VP of E-Commerce Product, this role will play a critical part in ensuring our product organization delivers high-quality outcomes at pace.
Working across multiple product pods and shared teams (engineering, design, analytics), you will bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex initiatives-helping teams stay aligned, remove blockers, and execute effectively.
What You'll Do:
Program & Project Delivery
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional e-commerce initiatives across web and mobile
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies in partnership with product and engineering teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate across multiple product pods and shared services teams (engineering, design, analytics, marketing)
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability across stakeholders
  • Manage interdependencies across initiatives to avoid conflicts and delays

Agile & Delivery Excellence
  • Support and enhance agile ways of working across teams
  • Facilitate key ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) where needed for larger programs
  • Drive consistency in delivery practices, tools, and reporting

Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Drive resolution of issues by working closely with relevant teams
  • Escalate appropriately with clear recommendations and impact assessment

Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders, including progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Translate complex initiatives into simple, actionable plans and status updates
  • Build strong relationships across product, engineering, and business teams

Planning & Prioritization Support
  • Partner with Product Managers and leadership to support roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Help ensure alignment between strategic goals and execution plans
  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes

Tools & Process Improvement
  • Drive effective use of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, road mapping tools)
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance, and team efficiency
  • Contribute to building a scalable operating model for the e-commerce organization

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager in a digital, e-commerce, or technology-driven organization
  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working closely with product management teams in a product-led organization
  • Familiarity with web and mobile development processes
  • Experience in global or multi-market environments
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or similar

The annual starting salary for this position is between $150,000 - $175,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
