Job description

  • Title: Process Engineer II
  • Location: Hemlock, MI | Onsite
  • Pay Rate: $44/Hr on W2
  • Type & Duration: 12 plus months contract possibility of extension based on demand.


Scope of this position:

  • The Process Engineer will provide hands-on support in a manufacturing environment to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement practical corrective actions that improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot equipment, product, process, and operational issues.
  • Analyze data, observations, and process conditions to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend, implement, and verify corrective actions to improve quality, uptime, throughput, and process stability.
  • Support equipment start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, qualification, and process optimization.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues and sustain improvements.
  • Maintain procedures, standard work, technical documentation, and clear communication of findings and recommendations.
