They provide in-depth research, performance analysis, and support investment decision-making processes for individuals or institutions. Senior Portfolio Analysts often collaborate with portfolio managers, prepare detailed reports, and help develop investment strategies based on market trends and financial data. How does a senior portfolio analyst typically collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members?

A Senior Portfolio Analyst works closely with portfolio managers to provide in-depth analysis, research, and recommendations on investment strategies. Job description

Join Vacatia and Help Drive the Performance of Our Resort Portfolio
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-Site/Hybrid)
About Vacatia
Vacatia is an innovative hospitality company reinventing the vacation ownership and resort experience across discovery, booking, and stay. As we continue to grow through acquisition and organic expansion, we're focused on maximizing the performance and long-term value of our growing resort portfolio.
We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Portfolio & Asset Management to join our team and serve as a key analytical and operational partner to Asset Management leadership and resort General Managers.
This is more than a reporting role. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of properties, evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and help turn data into actionable decisions that improve operations, profitability, and asset value.
Why You'll Love Working at Vacatia
Own Real Assets
Take meaningful ownership of a portfolio of resorts and develop a deep understanding of their performance and business plans.
Work Directly With Leadership
Partner closely with senior Asset Management leaders, General Managers, and the President to influence property-level decisions.
Turn Data Into Action
Go beyond financial reporting to identify trends, challenge results, and recommend actions that improve performance.
Build Your Hospitality Expertise
Gain exposure to hotel operations, revenue strategy, capital planning, acquisitions, repositioning, and portfolio performance.
Make a Visible Impact
Your analysis and recommendations will directly influence how Vacatia operates and invests in its growing resort portfolio.
Your Impact
  • Own a sub-portfolio of Vacatia properties and serve as a primary internal asset management contact
  • Review property-level P&Ls, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and other key hospitality metrics
  • Identify performance trends and variances and partner with Asset Management leaders and GMs to drive action
  • Support the annual business planning process, including revenue strategy, cost initiatives, and capital priorities
  • Own and continuously improve the GM Weekly Report, translating operational and guest feedback into clear portfolio insights
  • Benchmark property performance against industry peers and relevant market data
  • Develop recommendations related to repositioning, renovations, revenue opportunities, cost initiatives, and operational improvements
  • Support acquisition, development, and repositioning evaluations
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A on portfolio forecasting and financial analysis
  • Periodically travel to assigned properties to conduct performance reviews with GMs and operations leadership

What You Bring
  • 2๏ฟฝ4 years of experience in institutional hotel asset management, hospitality investment/private equity, or hotel operations finance
  • Experience taking ownership of property or portfolio performance rather than focusing solely on financial modeling
  • Strong understanding of hospitality KPIs including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP flow-through, and guest satisfaction
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to communicate confidently with property leaders and senior stakeholders
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
  • High attention to detail, ownership, and curiosity about how hospitality businesses operate
  • Willingness to travel periodically to assigned properties
Nice to Have
  • Experience with institutional hospitality investment managers or hotel asset management platforms
  • Experience with Blackstone Real Estate, Noble Investment Group, Host Hotels, Ashford, Watermark, or similar organizations
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting tools
  • Background in hospitality, hotel operations, vacation ownership, or resort management

Join Us
Join Vacatia and help shape the performance of a growing portfolio of resorts. As our Senior Analyst, Portfolio & Asset Management, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, develop deep hospitality expertise, and see your analysis translate into real decisions across the portfolio.
If you're ready to move beyond traditional financial analysis and take ownership of real assets and business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
