The Senior Plant Controller will be a key member of the Site Leadership team, driving ownership and accountability for the financial results of the operations. He/She will provide financial guidance in prioritizing resources, planning and execution.

This position reports to the Finance Director, Resins Operations and is part of the Resins Business Unit Finance team. The role is located in Muskegon, Michigan and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Be a trusted advisor and Business Partner for the Site Management providing regular and ad-hoc analysis, recommendations, ensure sound financial decision making and have the skillset to build a strong partnership with Operations team.
  • Full responsibility as business partner for annual budgets, monthly forecasting and month end reporting for P/L, capex, inventory, costing etc.
  • Support Site Operations team in delivering annual cost reduction objectives (productivity, cost of quality, PPV), capital request analysis and cost management
  • Coordinate the annual standard cost update and perform an annual impact analysis for the site
  • Oversee and utilize cost accounting procedures to drive accuracy in inventory management and reductions; capital planning, execution, and capitalization of assets under construction and continuous improvement projects.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7+ years Finance experience, including 5 years working in large / international organizations - including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence systems (i.e. Oracle, Onestream, Qliksense, PowerBI)
  • Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup)
  • Being a self-starter and proactive, structured with demonstrated ability to deliver results consistently

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel: the role may involve some travel to other Cytiva locations (mainly Sweden). Over time, this will be less than 10%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Supply Chain finance - including plant financials, productivity, inventory, capacity, PP&E
