Job description

We are looking for a talented Senior Planning Manager, Demand & Supply to join our team!

Location: Nashville, TN- Onsite with Flexibility - minimum of 3 days in office

Travel: Less than 10%

Relocation may be provided to those that qualify and currently live within the US, Sponsorship for employment visa status will NOT be provided now or in the future.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related roles
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing global or regional teams
  • Deep experience with S&OP / IBP processes in a global environment

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  

Develop and execute global demand forecasts across aftermarket and OEM channels.

Integrate statistical models, historical trends, and commercial insights into robust demand plans. 

Aligns the Master Supply Plan with the Unconstrained Demand Plan from 4 to 36 month horizon for their region through disaggregation process within each mid-size to large business and/or Line of Business. 

Partner with Sales (Aftermarket & OEM), Marketing, Product Management, and Finance to capture demand drivers.  

Works with Demand Control to understand the implications of near order trends on availability. 

Manages the hand offs between Demand Control and Planning teams such that right actions can be driven by planning teams to respond to changes in 0 to 3 month (demand control) period.

Undergraduate degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing global or regional teams
  • Deep experience with S&OP / IBP processes in a global environment

Base salary range: $135,000 to $180,000.00/year.

Own IBP / S&OP Demand Processes. 

Leverage advanced analytics, demand sensing, and automation to enhance forecasting capabilities. 

Maintains integrity of the supply plan and takes corrective actions promptly to ensure supply plan stability; escalates as appropriate. 

Manages cross-functional and cross-business unit interactions to ensure dependable and efficient demand management, including daily operations. 

Uses knowledge of business, customers, markets, and products to efficiently challenge demand plan assumptions to improve the quality and robustness of the demand plan. 

Effectively uses demand plan assumptions in the disaggregation process to improve supply forecast accuracy

Supports Corporate Supply Chain Management initiatives and leads the regional/global disaggregation and supply forecasting process to ensure global alignment.

Participates in standardizing disaggregation and forecasting processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships. 

Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability management. 

Lead the global demand review cycle within the S&OP / IBP framework. 

Drive global standardization of demand planning processes, tools, and governance. Support Atmus' broader supply chain transformation and digital roadmap.

Manage and develop a globally distributed team of demand planners. Support new product launches, portfolio transitions, and end-of-life planning.
