From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
Leadership role driving the decisions on new processes, tools, reports, dashboards, insights, etc... to improve efficiency for Systems Ops Control (SOC), Above the Wing (ATW), Below the Wing (BTW) and other Operational departments around the system in the field and at Network Ops Control (NOC) and Corporate Support Center (CSC).
  • Develop new and recurring reports and insights for Airport Operations senior leadership in SOCs, ATW, and BTW leadership, business partners, flying partners, and other operational divisions as needed; Administer and manage fixes and enhancements to existing performance reporting
  • Develop and communicate operational reliability insights for senior leadership, including materials for Performance Council and STAR meetings
  • Partner with Network Planning to manage the gating of future flight schedules; manage the gate fit process
  • Ad hoc analysis related to improvement of process, reliability, competitive performance, etc
  • Support in operational roles to support zone shift coverage in the SOC; must be willing to fully train as a Zone / Gate Manager
  • Manage analytics reporting for APU usage insights and develop/enhance our reporting interfaces (dashboards and emails)

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Supply Chain.
  • Must pass technical skills test (Excel, SQL, Power Point, etc
  • 3 years of Airport Operations Analytics experience
  • Airport Operations experience. Dashboarding and Data Visualization experience
  • Task/System/Reporting Automation experience
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of Spotfire or other dashboarding business intelligence tools
  • Beginner to intermediate Python/VB/VBA knowledge
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
