We are looking for a talented compensation professional to join Oracle's Global Compensation Consulting Team. As a Senior Compensation Consultant, you will provide strategic compensation consultation and program support to Oracle's Fusion Applications and Database Product Development organizations.
You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Advisors, Product Development leaders, Finance, and the Compensation Center of Excellence to design and deliver compensation solutions that enable Oracle to attract, motivate, and retain world-class engineering talent. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary compensation consultant supporting Fusion Applications and Database Product Development organizations.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop competitive compensation strategies supporting talent acquisition, retention, internal mobility, and organizational growth.

  • Lead annual compensation programs including merit increases, promotions, bonuses, equity planning, and market adjustments.

  • Develop analytics and compensation models to support budget allocation, workforce planning, and executive decision-making.

  • Consult with Talent Advisors and hiring managers on competitive offers for software engineering, product management, technology operations and support, and executive technical talent.

  • Provide guidance on internal equity, market competitiveness, job leveling, career progression, and compensation philosophy.

  • Partner with the Compensation Center of Excellence to influence compensation policies, salary structures, equity programs, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Participate in job architecture and organizational design initiatives for Product Development organizations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes through automation, reporting enhancements, and innovative analytics.

  • Support compensation projects involving organizational changes, acquisitions, workforce transformations, and strategic talent initiatives.

  • Build trusted relationships with HR, Finance, and senior Product Development leadership through practical, data-driven guidance.

  • Mentor junior compensation team members and participate in cross-functional initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of broad-based compensation consulting experience supporting technology organizations.

  • Experience partnering with software engineering, product development, or technical organizations.

  • Strong understanding of market pricing, equity compensation, and annual compensation planning.

  • Experience supporting Software Engineering, Product Management, Database Development, AI/ML, Security, Infrastructure, and related technical job families.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced modeling capabilities.

  • Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts through executive-level presentations.

  • Excellent relationship management, influencing, project management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across global teams.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and compensation planning systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.

  • Recent experience supporting Product Development organizations within enterprise software or cloud technology companies.

  • Experience implementing job architecture initiatives and career frameworks for engineering organizations.

  • Familiarity with compensation practices for software engineering, cloud infrastructure, AI, database technologies, and technical product organizations.

  • Experience leveraging advanced compensation analytics, workforce planning tools, and HR technology platforms.
