Data Database Administrator Engineer

Greater Memphis Area | Hybrid Opportunity
A growing industry leader is seeking a Data Infrastructure Engineer (DBA) to support and modernize a complex data environment spanning both on-premises and Microsoft Azure platforms. This role will play a key part in database administration, cloud migration initiatives, performance optimization, security, and high-availability architecture supporting critical business operations across a large manufacturing enterprise.

What You'll Do
  • Administer and support SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure platforms
  • Lead and support cloud migration initiatives and hybrid database architectures
  • Manage database backups, restores, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and scalability
  • Design, implement, and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Perform capacity planning, storage management, and infrastructure optimization
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure operational stability
  • Maintain database security, compliance, and governance standards
