Job description

1Link Technology has an immediate need for an Oracle Apps Database Administrator (DBA) for a 12+ month contract in Memphis, TN. The Apps DBA will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, upgrade, patching, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments deployed on-premises, non-engineered infrastructure.


WORKPLACE LOCATION - Onsite at clientโ€™s headquarters in Memphis, TN


QUALIFICATIONS - Must have senior-level experience with the following:

ยท        Data migrations and upgrades of Oracle E-Business Suite database (migration 12c to 19c and upgrade 19c to 23ai)

ยท        Administering and supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 high availability, always-on environments.

ยท        Performing Oracle EBS R12.2 online patching (ADOP) activities

ยท        Administering and supporting Oracle APEX environments.

ยท        Supporting cloning operations for Oracle Database versions 19c, 23ai, and future 26ai environments.

ยท        Administering Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) 19c backup and recovery solutions.

ยท        Designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Data Guard 19c environments.

ยท        Ensuring secure and reliable integration between Oracle EBS and supporting applications

ยท        Supporting Oracle EBS production environments and participate in maintenance windows, upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments.

ยท        Troubleshooting and performance tuning Oracle Apps databases.

ยท        Supporting large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite production environments.

ยท        Proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting.

ยท        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
