Cottage Health seeks an Epic Clinical Analyst Sr for their CH Clinical Informatics and Care Delivery Applications department responsible for under minimal supervision analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports and maintains Epic clinical applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements. Obtains and maintains in depth knowledge of software functionality and acquires and utilizes knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented. Areas of responsibility may be: Laboratory (Beaker), Clin Doc, Radiology (Radiant), Oncology (Beacon), Emergency Department (ASAP), OR/Anesthesia (Optime), Cardiology (Cupid).
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.
Education:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in clinical information applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Minimum: Current Epic certification for assigned application(s).
  • Preferred: License or certification in related clinical field or information systems.

Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum: Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to appropriate clinical department.

Years of Related Work Experience:
  • Minimum: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support.
  • Preferred: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support AND 5 years of project management or clinical experience is the areas of Radiology, Laboratory OR/Anesthesia, Oncology, Emergency Department, Cardiology or other appropriate healthcare area.
