Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations to lead high-priority growth and operational initiatives across the firm.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants significant ownership, exposure to senior leadership, and the ability to directly impact the growth of America’s largest personal injury law firms.

This role’s initial focus will be to scale several high growth potential practice areas. The Senior Manager will also partner with leadership in the Complex Litigation organization on ad-hoc strategic initiatives.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of strategy and execution, responsible for driving fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and leveraging technology to transform how we operate and scale.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, action-oriented operator who is comfortable tackling ambiguous problems, developing data-driven recommendations, and working collaboratively to drive results.

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth of key practice areas. Partner with practice leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, including identifying new opportunities, evaluating new markets and market segments, and building the operational capabilities to scale.
  • Build scalable operating models. Design and implement the processes, organizational structures, technology, reporting, and performance management systems necessary to support rapidly growing practices and new business initiatives.
  • Manage organizational performance and accountability. Establish clear expectations, and performance metrics and monitor execution against goals, holding teams accountable to adherence with processes and protocol and achieving target business results
  • Lead strategic initiatives. Partner with operations leaders to identify and solution high-priority opportunities and operational bottlenecks and develop and implement solutions that improve business performance and reduce
  • Develop go-to-market and marketing strategies. Work closely with Marketing and practice leaders to evaluate addressable markets, identify target client populations, develop acquisition strategies, assess channel economics, and determine where the firm should deploy marketing resources to accelerate growth.
  • Drive execution and accountability. Translate strategic priorities into clear workplans, owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes. Proactively identify risks and dependencies, resolve roadblocks, and ensure initiatives move from recommendation to implementation.
Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, business operations, growth strategy, private equity portfolio operations, or a similarly analytic and execution-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently structure and solve ambiguous business problems and translate recommendations into action.
  • Experience developing growth strategies, evaluating new markets, launching new initiatives, or scaling businesses or operating functions.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to use data to develop insights and make clear business recommendations.
  • Exceptional project management skills and demonstrated ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without relying on formal authority.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve and individuals are expected to take significant ownership.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity, judgment, and bias toward action.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
