Job description

Job Summary:
Symbotic is an automation technology leader reimagining the supply chain with its end-to-end, AI-powered robotic and software platform. They are seeking a Senior Network Operations Manager to lead the operational strategy and evolution of their global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security while mentoring a team of engineers.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers while supporting technical growth, operational excellence, and resource planning.
โ€ข Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, operational stability, and rapid incident response.
โ€ข Manage network security operations including Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies, VPN connectivity, and security policy governance.
โ€ข Direct the implementation and optimization of Aruba EdgeConnect (Silver Peak) SD-WAN solutions across branch and customer locations.
โ€ข Manage enterprise wireless environments leveraging Aruba controller-based architectures and Cisco wireless technologies.
โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for ISPs, hardware vendors, and third-party partners to ensure successful delivery of services and adherence to SLAs.
โ€ข Lead operational incident response activities, participate in a rotating on-call support schedule approximately once every three months, and travel up to 10% to customer and corporate locations as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
โ€ข Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and infrastructure operations, including a minimum of 3 years of leadership or people management experience.
โ€ข Expert-level knowledge of enterprise routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, and STP.
โ€ข Proven experience managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), specifically Palo Alto Panorama or Cisco firewall technologies.
โ€ข Deep understanding of SD-WAN architecture, deployment strategies, and operational management utilizing Aruba EdgeConnect (Silver Peak) or Cisco SD-WAN technologies.
โ€ข Hands-on experience supporting Aruba Mobility Conductors/Controllers, Aruba wireless environments, Cisco DNA Center, or Cisco WLC platforms, with industrial networking experience highly preferred.
Preferred:
โ€ข Preferred certifications include CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), or equivalent advanced networking certifications.
