Job description

Summary
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Radar Technologies Division (LXL), Product Support Branch (LXLN) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-05 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

Duties

  • You will serve as the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead for the SPY-1 Battle Spares development and harvesting program at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.
  • You will be responsible for strategic execution and product support outcomes for highly complex, multi-phase life cycle efforts.
  • You will extend existing procedures to develop new interpretations and logistics frameworks where no prior precedents exist.
  • You will prepare and deliver high-level briefings for senior military and program office leadership.
  • You will develop and implement unprecedented harvest strategies through coordination with headquarters, cross-activity fleet stakeholders, and military leadership.
  • You will act as primary customer relationship manager and lead resource person for SPY-1 efforts across the harvest-to-depot life cycle.
  • You will provide advice to resolve product support problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and recognized technical accuracy to maintain mission success.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating integrated logistics support requirements to provide logistics, technical, and administrative guidance to logistics program support personnel for weapon systems programs.
