Job description


Endpoint Administrator (MS Intune & Entra ID)
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the endpoint and Mobile Architecture systems. These systems include but are not limited to: MS Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and MS Endpoint Configuration Manager. This position is also responsible for researching new technology and developing a roadmap of the future direction of all End User Support systems to continuously improve and keep up with business and IT needs. This position will actively resolve complex problems and issues with computer systems to limit work disruptions and production outages.
Endpoint Administrator (Intune & Entra ID) Role and Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver application packages in Intune Endpoint Manager.
  • Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues, acting as the highest escalation point for requests and incidents.
  • Administer and manage mobile devices, laptops, Azure, and the Azure Admin portal.
  • Develop methodologies and escalation processes to ensure proper information flow within the organization.
  • Train, coach, and mentor support staff, including building, editing, and documenting training materials and how-to video documentation.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Provide data and reporting of KPIs and trends on a weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis.
  • Maintain an effective framework for managing and improving customer IT support.
  • Advise management on escalated incidents, identified trending patterns, and recommend solutions for systemic enhancements.
Endpoint Administrator (MS Intune & Entra ID) Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and three years of progressively responsible, professional-level analyst and systems experience in a large-scale Information Technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Administration, and Active Directory
  • Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, iOS, and modern Windows Server environments.
  • M365 Ecosystem: Experience supporting, installing, and troubleshooting mainstream M365 products (including Microsoft Teams, Teams Premium, New Outlook, and M365 Copilot / Copilot Chat / Teams Administration).
  • Infrastructure & Operations: Strong hands-on experience with hardware/software infrastructure tools, basic network troubleshooting (ethernet/Wi-Fi), routing topology, and modern server/network equipment.
  • Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for system administration and deployment.
  • ITSM Tools: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ticketing tools (San Diego or later version).
  • Hardware Lifecycle: Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and high-level peripheral escalation (video conference equipment, network copiers/printers).
  • Soft Skills: Command of comprehensive inventory management principles; strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service, prioritizing, and work assignment skills.
