Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Data EngineerJob Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)Job Type: ContractJob Description/ Requirement:3–7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.Strong experience in project management reporting and portfolio analytics.Hands-on experience with SQL, data integration, ETL, and data transformation.Experience developing dashboards and executive reports using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools.Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.Experience creating KPIs, scorecards, and portfolio performance metrics.Strong knowledge of data modeling, reporting automation, and data quality.Experience analyzing project, portfolio, financial, and operational data.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.Equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.Preferred:Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, or Microsoft Project Online.Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server, or enterprise data warehousing.Knowledge of APIs, ETL processes, scripting, and reporting automation.Experience in government or large enterprise environments.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or PMBOK methodologies.Experience with financial and portfolio performance reporting.Interested candidates can send their updated resumes at jobs@global-itech.com
