Job description

Data Engineer only on W2

Location: Resources will be in office 4 days a week in Dearborn, MI

Job type: Direct hire – Full time

Key Responsibilities:

· System configuration for Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules

· Design and maintain ETL pipelines and API integrations (REST/SOAP)

· Translate union contracts, labor laws, and work rules into system logic

· Manage platform governance, security roles, upgrades, and environment stability

· Build SQL-based reports and perform advanced data analysis

Skills Required:

· SQL

· Python

· SaaS

Education Required:

· Bachelor's Degree

Primary Skills Required:

· Enterprise WFM configuration experience (WFS preferred, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors)

· Advanced SQL and ETL development experience

· API / data integration experience (REST, SOAP, XML, flat files)

· Strong technical/business requirements translation skills

· Agile / Jira experience

Experience Required:

· 10+ years IT experience in large-scale enterprise environments

· Hands-on WFM configuration for 10,000+ employee environments

· HR/Payroll data integration and system support experience

· Experience with union work rules and manufacturing environments

· Familiarity with US/Canadian labor regulations (FLSA, provincial laws)

Preferred Experience:

· Workforce Software (WFS) hands-on experience

· Cloud data tools (GCP, BigQuery, etc.)

· Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience
