Job description

Associate Data Engineer (Entry-Level)Launch Your Data Engineering Career

Are you a recent graduate or early-career technologist eager to turn data into meaningful business insights? Join our team as an Associate Data Engineer and help build the foundation of our enterprise data ecosystem.

In this role, you'll translate business needs into data models and pipelines that support analytics and decision-making across the organization. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern data tools, collaborate with experienced engineers, and grow your technical skillset in a fast-paced environment.

On-site role | No relocation or remote work available
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (e.g., H1B, F1 OPT, TN, etc.) 

What You'll Do
  • Support the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models within our enterprise data warehouse
  • Help document and map data systems, flows, and architectures (current and future state)
  • Partner with IT teams and architects to define data integrations and interfaces
  • Quickly secure initial data access, then build scalable, reliable ETL processes
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
  • Contribute to data strategy and technology decisions, balancing performance and cost
  • Participate in data modeling, integration planning, and design reviews
  • Create clear documentation, diagrams, and technical visuals
  • Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Collaborate and share knowledge across teams
What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • OR High school diploma/equivalent with four (4) years of IT experience
  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts or data blending (mashups)
  • Experience or familiarity with enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experience with documentation tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Scala, PowerShell, or SQL
  • Background in systems engineering or application development
  • Experience creating technical diagrams or data models
