HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?

Sr. Systems Analyst

The Senior Systems Analyst develops complex software and integrates applications with complex interfaces based on specifications provided. Creates and reviews technical design specifications. Works under limited supervision and mentors junior staff.

Systems Analyst Consultant

The Systems Analyst Consultant leads complex software development projects. Leads selection and implementation of software packages and drives substantial interaction with vendor resources. Serves as subject matter expert in technical discipline. Works under minimal supervision and mentors and directs junior staff. May serve as backup to Manager in a limited capacity.

IT Technical Architect

The IT Technical Architect (Operational Technologies) is a strategic role providing technical leadership for SCADA, Gas Distribution, and Meter Measurement systems supporting Gas Operations. This role defines and shapes technology solutions that maximize the value, performance, and lifecycle of natural gas operational assets across compliance, maintenance, and daily operations.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

All Levels

  • Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, additional years related experience may be considered. (Must have Bachelor's Degree for Architect level)

Sr. Systems Analyst

  • 6 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum high school diploma and 4+ additional years related experience may be considered.

Systems Analyst Consultant

  • 10 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.

IT Technical Architect

  • Minimum of 8 years of direct work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position or performing duties closely related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in any combination of SCADA, Meter Measurement, Distribution Systems, and Network Infrastructure
  • Deep expertise in SCADA platforms, industrial communications protocols (Ex. Modbus), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) programming concepts, and industrial networking is crucial.
  • Deep technical knowledge in database design development.  This includes expertise in SQL, data modeling, and familiarization with DBMS (Ex. SSMS)

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *Aligned with level of position

  • Design, develop, integrate, and support complex software and SCADA / OT systems aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead or contribute to endtoend SDLC activities, including requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop and review technical design specifications, estimates, and architectural artifacts to ensure solution integrity and alignment.
  • Lead or support selection, configuration, and integration of vendor software solutions, coordinating closely with vendors and integrators.
  • Provide 24x7 support for niche, core, and missioncritical applications, including coordination of maintenance and release activities.
  • Serve as Technical Lead on projects, overseeing technical delivery and guiding design and implementation decisions.
  • Mentor, review, and oversee work produced by junior staff; establish and drive standard practices within the team.
  • Own or contribute to the endtoend technical architecture for SCADA and OT systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to support roadmap planning, change impact assessment, and governance reviews.
  • Create and maintain architectural standards, policies, and documentation supporting application, data, and technology architectures.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, hardware, and emerging IT/OT technologies
  • Proficient in SQL, relational databases, SSMS, and system integration design
  • Experience with meter data management, meter reading, SAP billing, and mobile field solutions
  • Handson experience with SCADA platforms, PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, industrial protocols, and networking
  • Expertise in SCADA architecture, including redundancy, failover, and highavailability designs
  • Ability to lead SCADA system design and implementation and assess infrastructure gaps
  • Experience implementing SCADA cybersecurity controls (ISA99 / IEC 62443, TSA compliance)
  • Strong project planning, SDLC, documentation, and continuous improvement capabilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills
