The first spark of a product idea sets the Nike, Inc. Footwear Product Creation team into motion. The team of footwear developers, testers, engineers and designers strive for product excellence. They obsess over shoes, while collaborating, ideating and refining the product's construction, fit and style. They use groundbreaking advancements in technology and sustainable design to accelerate innovation. And they work lockstep with Merchandising, Design, Manufacturing and others to produce the final result: products that reflect the soul of sport and inspire athletes to reach new levels of performance.
As a member of NIKE's Footwear Product Management team, you'll drive all stages of the product creation process, from uncovering sharp consumer and marketplace insights to presenting finalized footwear concepts. You'll be responsible for creating product briefs, analyzing business metrics, researching consumer and marketplace trends, building the line plan, and collaborating with Design, Development & Merchandising teammates to create industry leading sneakers.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This Senior Product Line Manager sits within Global Product Management for Nike Basketball Footwear. You will work closely with the product management cross-functional teammates and Global Merchandising, Design, Footwear Development, Sourcing, and Marketing teams to manage the product creation and advise our go-to-market processes for Nike Basketball Footwear. You will also partner with the Consumer Insights teams as needed to ensure alignment across insight gathering and implementing it into the creation process.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike Basketball is looking for a proven footwear Senior Product Line Manager who knows how to translate athlete insight into footwear that moves the game forward. This individual brings expertise across the full footwear creation process-from line planning and development through commercialization, manufacturing, and marketplace execution-and consistently turns strategy into exceptional product.
An ideal Senior Product Line Manager is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence, strong problem-solving skills, and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive for crafting outstanding products and the ability to learn, adapt, and lead quickly. A passion for serving our athletes is a requirement! We are looking for someone who will partner effectively with diverse teams around the globe and across the Nike value chains.
They bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, leading with clarity in dynamic environments, simplifying complexity, and building trust across diverse cross-functional teams. They understand how to make decisive choices, influence without authority, and keep the athlete at the center of every decision.
  • 5+ years of experience in footwear product management, product creation, merchandising, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Demonstrated expertise across the footwear creation process, including line planning, development, commercialization, manufacturing, and go-to-market execution.
  • Deep understanding of footwear construction, product engineering, materialization, fit, testing, and creation processes.
  • Proven ability to leverage athlete insights, consumer understanding, and marketplace trends to shape product strategy, innovation, and storytelling.
  • Exceptional organizational and operational leadership skills, with experience managing complex product portfolios and key calendar milestones.

  • Partner with Design, Development, Engineering, Sourcing, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, Brand, Marketplace, Geo, and Consumer Insights to create alignment, accelerate decision-making, and deliver world-class product.
  • Elevate product quality, craftsmanship, construction, storytelling, and consumer impact through deep footwear creation expertise and a relentless focus on the athlete.
