Job Title:
Sustainment Mega Pursuit Director
Reporting To:
Strategy Growth & Innovation Director
Work Schedule:
Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local - Orlando, FL
We are seeking a Sustainment Mega Pursuit Director to define and lead an integrated, global sustainment strategy across the division. This extends the Mega Pursuit construct to focus on sustainment and aftermarket growth-one of the most significant and expanding opportunity areas across the Defense Division.
Sustainment is establishing a dedicated, accountable leadership role to define strategy, prioritize opportunities, and drive coordinated execution across business units. You will serve as the enterprise leader responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, shaping customer strategies, and capturing high-value sustainment opportunities across domestic and international markets, in close partnership with BU General Managers who execute within their businesses.
Your role is critical to driving revenue growth, protecting our installed base, and preventing third-party capture of lifecycle and aftermarket work.
As Mega-Pursuit Director - Sustainment, you will:
• Define and lead enterprise sustainment strategy
  • Establish and execute a division-wide sustainment mega pursuit strategy aligned to the Mega Pursuit construct.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for sustainment pursuits across the program lifecycle.

• Drive revenue growth and market protection
  • Lead pursuits targeting significant aftermarket and sustainment opportunities.
  • Protect long-term program value by preventing displacement by third-party sustainment providers.

• Integrate across business units
  • Coordinate complex pursuits spanning multiple business units, portfolios, and platforms.
  • Align internal stakeholders to deliver integrated, differentiated sustainment solutions.

• Manage diverse customer portfolios
  • Balance priorities across multiple customers and services simultaneously.
  • Focus areas include:

• Naval sustainment
• International opportunities in Europe and Australia
• Stateside contested logistics priorities supporting the Marine Corps, Army, and Navy
• Engage senior stakeholders
  • Build trusted relationships with U.S. DoD, international customers, and strategic partners.
  • Represent sustainment strategy at senior internal and external forums

To Be Considered, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in defense, aerospace, or government services, with substantial experience in sustainment, logistics, or lifecycle support
  • Demonstrated success leading complex pursuits, capture efforts, or enterprise-level strategies across multiple customers and multiple business units
  • Strong understanding of DoD sustainment models, aftermarket services, and contested logistics environments
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience engaging senior government, military, and international customers
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel

Why This Role Matters
Sustainment continues to emerge as a powerful driver of long-term revenue and customer value. Creating this role enables a focused approach to capturing aftermarket opportunities while strengthening partnerships and execution across global markets. You will bring clarity, accountability, and momentum to a high growth area of the business.
How We Care for You:
  • Financial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts
  • Work/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.
  • Health & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan ("EAP") and other supplemental benefit coverages.
