Salary: USD $100,000 โ $120,000 / yr

What Youโll Be Doing as Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Serve as the mechanical subject matter expert for one or more areas of the plant
Spend approximately 80% of time on the production floor supporting operations
Lead continuous improvement and corrective action projects
Provide technical support to internal customers
Manage projects including new machine installations and equipment upgrades
Analyze project requirements and resolve design and engineering challenges
Oversee project execution to ensure safety, quality, budget, and timeline adherence
Ensure compliance with safety objectives and legal requirements
Monitor and evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements
Lead mechanical projects through design, fabrication, implementation, testing (FAT), commissioning, and daily operation
Develop and manage engineering drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault
Create designs, bills of materials, and spare parts lists
Work closely with vendors and manage external contractors
Conduct equipment risk assessments and implement safety countermeasures
Support machine start-up, commissioning, and daily operation
What Youโll Need to Have as Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Strong 3D modeling experience (SolidWorks, Inventor)
Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor software
Strong fundamental knowledge of hydraulic and conveying systems
Experience leading projects and working with cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of machine design
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work safely on a production floor with high temperatures, noise, and heavy machinery
