Job description

Quest (www.questenergygroup.com) is the LEADING Talent Acquisition Firm supporting Refinery and Chemical operations.
We are recruiting for a Sr Mechanical Engineer for a state of the art chemical plant in Corpus Christi TX. The Sr Mechanical Engineer will manage and lead strategic long-term programs and projects as well as address short-term operational issues.
Types of equipment: train-compression units, screw compressors, boosters, chiller units, steam turbine, expander, pumps and main blowers in order to efficiently operate the manufacturing plant.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years experience with mechanical engineering design, commissioning, start-up, maintenance within the chemical, petrochemical, refinery industry)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Sr Design Leadership roles coordinating and directing design activities
  • Expert knowledge on rotary mechanical equipment such as train compressors, screw compressing units, pumps and pressure exchangers
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Perm Resident
  • No visa sponsorship / transfers available
