Position summary:

Motivated Mechanical Engineer (PE) with strong experience in HVAC system design and Revit MEP modeling to support the design and coordination of mechanical systems for residential and light commercial developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical engineering design, developing BIM models in Revit, preparing construction documents, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

This role is ideal for a mid-career engineer looking to expand their technical and project leadership experience within a growing MEP engineering practice.

Key requirements:

  • Must hold a PE license and be able to obtain licensure in additional states
  • Strong Revit experience
  • 5+ years of relevant MEP design background

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in building systems (Residential and Commercial).
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit MEP for mechanical system modeling.
  • Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain PE licenses in additional states through comity as project needs require.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE license in Texas or ability to obtain Texas licensure quickly.
  • Experience with residential developments or multi-family projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
  • Experience working in a consulting engineering environment.
