What You'll Be Doing:
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and driving root cause resolution for manufacturing test yield fallout and field escapes, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Coordinating and executing PCBA and system-level Final Assembly Test (FAT) development activities, managing dependencies across internal teams and external partners.
  • Troubleshooting software and firmware issues, collaborating closely with R&D Engineering to resolve complex problems.
  • Managing test capacity, equipment schedules, and risk mitigation for manufacturing test development projects aligned with new product introduction (NPI) timelines.
  • Driving the design, development, and deployment of product test infrastructures at global contract manufacturing (CM) partner sites, ensuring timely delivery and robust test platforms.
  • Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding test deployment status, dependencies, and driving design-for-test (DFT) initiatives with R&D teams.
  • Authoring, reviewing, and releasing documentation for product test strategies, plans, processes, and equipment calibration/maintenance.

  • Providing on-site support for functional testing during production, analyzing test data, and managing test infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and consumables.
  • Leading test release management, including factory qualification testing, validation of test changes, and ensuring test stability.
  • Publishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics regularly to monitor and improve manufacturing test processes.
  • Engaging in cross-functional interactions, adapting to shifting priorities, and executing plans in a highly energized environment.

What You'll Need:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in senior manufacturing test engineering roles for highly complex PCBA and FATP systems (EDA, Semiconductor Equipment, ATE, or similar).
  • Proven expertise in developing test strategies, plans, and evaluating test coverage for product-specific hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects from NPI planning to production ramp and release to manufacturing.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills with a solid understanding of product quality, yield detractors, and improvement methodologies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with lab test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, DMMs, HI pot testers, etc.) and data collection tools.
  • Working knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and repair processes, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics.

  • Automation and data skills (Python/Perl, C#/VB.NET, SQL, SPC/CPK, yield analytics) are highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with local and international R&D teams, Test Development partners, and contract manufacturers.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
