Sr Manufacturing Process Engineer - Building Products


Plant located 4 hours West of Knoxville, TN - Relocation Provided

Industrial building products - Salary $135,000-$150,000


I am currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer role (Rubber, Extrusion or Plastics experience preferred) on behalf of a Manufacturer of Building Products used for commercial facilities with over $1 Billion in sales. This role will work in a plant environment at a plant location 4 Hours West of Knoxville, TN. Relocation provided.


The Senior Mfg Process Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing manufacturing processes collaborating with the operations team to ensure quality product is delivered. This role will lead projects from concept to industrialization including design and layout of plant systems, equipment and production lines utilizing WCM tools, lean principles and Six Sigma to ensure efficiency.


The hiring manager is looking for 7-15 years of experience within a rubber, plastics or extrusion manufacturing environment including equipment installation and line extension experience. Must have a proven track record using World Class Mfg, Six Sigma or lean tools to streamline processes and optimize production and quality of products. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering is required. The salary range is $135,000 - $150,000 and offers Full Benefits including healthcare, matching 401k, etc.
