Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required OR a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate security, investigations, risk management, law enforcement, military, or intelligence organizations
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide security programs across multiple facilities or regions.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security technologies and security operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, defense, or multinational organizations.
  • Experience with crisis management, site protection, and travel security programs.
  • CPP, PSP, PCI, or other ASIS certifications.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, French, or German).
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise security transformations and large-scale security technology implementations.

Salary Range: $130k - $150k/year approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/org. location).

Howmet Aerospace is in search of a Senior Corporate Security Manager committed to safeguarding its intellectual, financial, and physical assets by providing a safe and secure work and travel environment, and minimizing security risks and threats to our employees, our assets and our reputation.

Reporting to the Vice President of EHS, Sustainability & Security, the Senior Corporate Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving enterprise-wide security programs. The role serves as the company's subject matter expert in physical security, investigations, threat assessment, travel security, crisis response, and global security risk management.

This role is based at Howmet's Corporate Headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA, which follows a hybrid working schedule. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a global corporate security strategy to protect employees, visitors, vendors, and physical assets.
  • Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and site audits.
  • Guide facility leadership on mitigation plans and security improvements.
  • Lead or support investigations involving theft, workplace violence, misconduct, and security incidents.
  • Support crisis management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Oversee physical security technologies including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems.
  • Manage travel security and threat assessment programs.
  • Manage security vendors, service providers, contracts, and budgets.
  • Deliver security awareness and training programs.
  • Brief executive leadership on security risks, incidents, and program performance.
