  • Understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, with the ability to select and architect appropriate storage solutions. Experience with SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering highly available, fault-tolerant systems, including multi-region architectures, disaster recovery strategies, and uptime SLAs of 99.9% or greater.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including secure software development, secure-by-design principles, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management.
  • Maintains high standards for quality assurance and team accountability, takes proactive action to drive continuous improvement, and consistently raises the bar to build and sustain a high-performing team.
  • Understanding of Agile principles and demonstrated success leading Agile software delivery across multiple teams and initiatives.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, building high-performance teams that integrate effectively within the broader organization.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to drive alignment and execution across cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Preferred: Expertise in applied machine learning and ML-Ops, including successful deployment of production-grade ML solutions at scale.
