The primary responsibility of the Sr. Maintenance Technician is to perform routine maintenance tasks and assist the Maintenance supervisor with projects within the DNOW Corporate campus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to cranes and shop machinery.
  • Maintain fabrication shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, compressors, and grinders.
  • Conduct facility upkeep-repairing doors, lighting, ventilation systems, and other infrastructure as needed.
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports in compliance with OSHA and manufacturer requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, safety improvements, and cost-saving maintenance practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong focus on overhead crane systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and crane inspection requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when servicing cranes.
