A Senior Looker Developer is a data professional responsible for designing, building, and optimizing business intelligence solutions using Looker, a data analytics and visualization platform. They create data models, develop dashboards, and ensure that data is accessible and accurate for business users. Senior Looker Developers often collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Their expertise includes LookML (Looker's modeling language), SQL, and best practices for data visualization and reporting. They also mentor junior developers and help drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making within organizations.

Senior Looker Developers often encounter challenges such as optimizing complex data models for performance, managing version control in Looker projects, and ensuring data consistency across multiple sources.
