Your day to day as a Senior Loan Officer

As a Senior Loan Officer at Best Reward Credit Union, you will take charge of the entire loan process, overseeing applications from initial submission to final closing. Collaborating closely with fellow loan officers, you will help determine workflow processes and establish departmental goals that drive success. Your role will involve coordinating with underwriters and third-party service providers to enhance efficiencies and streamline operations, ensuring a smooth and effective loan experience for our members. What we're looking for in a Senior Loan Officer

To excel as a Senior Loan Officer at Best Reward Credit Union, candidates should possess 3-5 years of lending experience, ideally with management skills to guide the team effectively. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential for daily operations and reporting. While familiarity with the Credit Union industry and its regulations is recommended, a strong commitment to learning and adaptation is valued. Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial, as you will be interacting with members and coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen problem-solving ability, complemented by a smart, abundant mindset that aligns with our forward-thinking culture.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • 3-5 years in lending including management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Recommended (but not required) familiarity with Credit Union industry and regulations. Strong oral and written communication skills.
