Job description

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator to help lead and standardize our BIM/Revit operations across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.

This is a handsโ€‘on technical leadership role. You will own firm BIM standards, support production teams, and help shape how our firm uses Revit and BIM workflows across projects. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure our models are efficient, coordinated, and consistent.

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to build and lead the BIM function within a growing engineering firm.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve firm-wide Revit standards, templates, families, and content libraries across MEP disciplines
  • Lead BIM setup for new projects including model structure, worksets, shared coordinates, and linking protocols
  • Support model coordination and clash detection with architectural, structural, and other consultants
  • Provide handsโ€‘on Revit troubleshooting and workflow support to engineering staff
  • Train and mentor engineers and designers on firm BIM standards and best practices
  • Evaluate and implement BIM tools, plugins, and workflow improvements
  • Assist with model quality control prior to major project submissions
  • Coordinate with discipline leads and project managers to maintain model health across active projects
  • Stay current with evolving BIM standards and relevant software updates
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in Revit/BIM production within an MEP or AEC consulting environment
  • Strong expertise in Revit MEP and BIM workflows
  • Experience developing Revit families, templates, and content libraries
  • Familiarity with Navisworks or similar clash detection tools
  • Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or comparable collaboration platforms
  • Working knowledge of MEP systems and construction document production
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train and support production staff
  • Autodesk certifications or Dynamo experience are a plus
