We are seeking a Landscape Designer to join our boutique design studio. This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled professional who is ready to take ownership of key aspects of the design process and contribute to the overall vision of our projects.
Position Overview
As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for executing design-related tasks that support the overall project vision. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to concept development, technical documentation, and visual presentations. You will be expected to take ownership of key aspects of the design process. This role requires a detail-oriented and creative individual with a strong foundation in design principles and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Project Execution
  • Execute assigned design-related tasks that contribute to the overall project vision.
  • Assist in the development of conceptual site plans, layouts, and illustrative graphics.
  • Contribute to planting plans, material selections, and landscape design elements.
  • Produce high-quality visual renderings and presentations to communicate design intent.

Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with Level 2 and Level 3 Landscape Architects/Designers to develop and refine project designs.
  • Participate in team meetings, design charrettes, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure project alignment.
  • Communicate design ideas effectively with team members, clients, and consultants.

Technical & Documentation Responsibilities
  • Develop construction drawings, technical details, and documentation to support project execution.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
  • Conduct research on materials, site conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform design decisions.
  • Assist in preparing reports, diagrams, and supporting materials for project presentations.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture or design.
  • Strong design sensibility, with a portfolio demonstrating creative and technically sound work.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Rhino, or other relevant design tools.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned design tasks and execute them with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas visually and verbally.
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a team-oriented studio environment.
