JOB DESCRIPTION
Sushi Tama is currently looking for experienced Sushi Chef. 
Our restaurant is part of Showa Hospitality group. Tama is an upscale Japanese Sushi restaurant located in Beverly Hills. Our restaurant is focused on bringing an excellent and exciting dining experience to Los Angeles. We are looking for energetic, service driven individuals with a passion for food and beverage, who want to create experiences that bring guests back.
A Minimum of at least 3 years experience as a Sushi Chef. ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A SUSHI CHEF.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Have 3 years of Sushi chef experience
• Have 3 years progressive kitchen management experience.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Multi‐task and detail oriented
• Ability to lead, train and develop all members of staff.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members of management, employees, and guests.
• Basic knowledge of laws and regulations
• Bi-Lingual Japanese/English preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be passionate about executing service to the highest standards and giving the best service.
• Be willing to continually expand knowledge about food and beverage.
• Be able to work cleanly, efficiently, with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation.
• Sense of urgency is a must.
• Ability to handle volume while maintaining a clean and positive environment is essential.
• Willing to always maintain a professional image.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication, problem resolution and organizational skills.
• Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly
