Job description

Inventory Management Specialist

As the Inventory Management Specialist, you will coordinate the rates and inventory for a portfolio size up to 12 hotels. This roll will maintain inventory controls, monitor & adjust pricing strategies, analyze demand factors and conduct comp rate analysis. This role requires strong analytical skills and an understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Your daily tasks will include managing group and transient inventory through various hotel systems; Ad Hoc Reports; Reviews of STAR Reports, Monthly Conditions and Market Conditions; Reviewing Selling Strategy for the next 30 days and monitor the overbook strategies, and more! 
  • You will report to the Director of Revenue Strategy. 
  • A career as an Inventory Management Specialist can lead to opportunities in various director-level roles within the hospitality industry, such as Revenue Strategy Leader, or other corporate-level positions.
Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, relevant field of work, and/or combination of education and work-related experience, Required.
  • 2 - 4 Years of Revenue Management an/or Front-Office Experience, Highly Preferred. 
  • Marriott or Hilton Experience Required. Hyatt, IHG, and/or Independent, a Plus. 

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications
